A lot of people ask me what inspires me and where I get my ideas. Here’s what I tell them:
I am inspired by animals and I draw right from my heart.
I hope you smile all the way through my gallery. Every once in a while, I will make a new “how-to” video so that I can keep teaching people how to draw. Please check back regularly, because I create new drawings, paintings and sculptures all the time.

When I was in kindergarten, two years ago, I spent a few mornings a week at my friend’s house. Her mom, Sally Paynter, is actually a real painter! Every week, she taught me things about drawing and painting. She taught me how to do a still life of my stuffed animals and she taught me how important it is to make sure the animals I draw have a place to stand or fly or perch or crawl. She also taught me that drawing the background is as important as the animal I draw. I really loved the still life drawings I did at Sally’s house and THAT’S when I knew I was an artist.
You will notice that I almost always sign my name with ’07. That’s because I think it’s very cool that I was born in 2000 and I will always know how old I am based on what year it is! All the art on my website (so far) was done at age 7. Stay tuned for 2008!
